
APRIL 17, 2017 — Shipbuilder Sinopacific and owner Deep Sea Supply yesterday held a naming ceremony in Aberdeen, Scotland, for Sea Falcon, the first of twelve PX 105 platform supply vessels Sinopacific is building for the owner at its Zhejiang, China, shipyard under a contract signed just 22 months earlier.
Designed by Ulstein Design & Solutions, the PX105 has the Ulstein X bow and is 88.8 m in length overall, 19.0 m in breadth, 8.0 m in depth, molded, and has a maximum deadweight of 4,543 t. Service speed is 15.7 knots at 5.0 m draft.
Generator exhaust emissions meet European Automobile Emission Standard and the entire vessel meets Class 3 standard in noise, vibration, temperature, humidity and comfort.
