Odfjell heiress set to sell stake in Odfjell Drilling

SEPTEMBER 5, 2013 — Heiress Marianne Odfjell has announced plans to sell off her 30 percent stake in Odfjell Drilling for about $500 million in cash.
Norway's English language newspaper The Local says that the sale paves the way for Odfjell Drilling to seek a listing on the Oslo stock exchange at an expected value of $1.2 billion to $1.8 billion.
Marianne Odfjell, 43, and her sister Helena, 48, inherited their father's shares in the company when he died in 2007.
