This four-day course is for seafarers designated to provide first aid on board ship and those needing certificates of competency. The level of knowledge gained will be sufficient to enable the seafarer to take immediate action in the case of injury or illness.

On successful completion of the course, candidates will receive a Proficiency in Medical First Aid On Board Ship certificate.
