There is no previous training required to take this couse although when taken in conjunction with the Proficiency in Medical First Aid course we advise that the candidate should have taken at least a 1 day Basic First Aid course.

This course is an ideal advancement on basic forst aid training for those looking to go into Maritime Security or Close Protection work.

It is designed to give the learner the key skills to provide immediate life support to the patient pending the arrival of definitive pre-hospital care.
